ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Why I founded Solome’s Sickle Cell Foundation
Hi, I’m Solome Mealin. As someone living with Sickle Cell Disorder, I know firsthand the physical, emotional, and social challenges it brings. That’s why I started Solome’s Sickle Cell Foundation.
Through this foundation, I collaborate with healthcare professionals and local communities to raise awareness about Sickle Cell Disorder, as well as the importance of blood donation—especially within minority backgrounds. By shining a light on these issues, we can build a more inclusive healthcare landscape and give everyone a fair chance to thrive.
